INSANE Display, Mid Laptop - ROG Strix SCAR 18 (2026) Review

The ROG Strix SCAR 18 has always been one of the fastest gaming laptops on the planet and now it also comes with a HUGE screen upgrade. But on the performance side, the new 2026 version isn't any different. It has a 290HX Plus and RTX 5090, its evident we've reached peak gaming framerates. There's also a few other problems here that might make the 2025 version a better bed.
